Key Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks on civil construction sites.
- Constructing formwork, boxing, beams, walls, stairs, and other structural elements for bridges and civil infrastructure projects.
- Working with concrete, ensuring high-quality finishes and actively participating in concrete pours and related tasks.
- Operating power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision and care.
- Collaborating with engineers and site supervisors to ensure work is completed on time and in accordance with project requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Carpenter, specializing in formwork and concrete structures.
- Proven experience working on bridges, roads, and large-scale civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of formwork, boxing, concrete structures, beams, stair construction, and high-quality finishing work.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in a variety of weather conditions.
- Competitive hourly rate of $28–$35 per hour.
